Buffistarawk?

Nope I don't. Damn my ignorance.

But thanks Hec! I'll make Perkins help me.

I'm in class. With nothing to teach.

I think it's time for a reading of How the Grinch Stole Christmas !

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Depends on what you want out of the placement, Kate. Argentina sounds exotic, fun and will help you brush up your Spanish. If I went anywhere in Latin America, it would be Argentina due to the reported European feel of it.

Pine Ridge Reservation is the poorest place in the nation. So they could certainly use help if making an impact is a goal. I've done some volunteer work with local Indian groups here in the past and it really is a different culture. So even though you'd be staying in the States, it would be "exotic" in the sense that you'd be stepping outside your usual culture. I can imagine that it'd be even more so on the reservation than at Indian cultural centers in the city.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I think I am getting my friend tickets to a Bway play now. More $$ than what I previously had, but something we can go do together, something she likes, and not something that will take up space in her home.

Now I only lack one gift. And that one, really, I can get while at the parents' and deliver post vacation.

WHEE! DONE!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So not done with my shopping. I'm not sure how I'm going to finish it.

I'm not sure how I'm going to finish it.

Online...and then print out pictures of items, wrap them and say "it's coming late, damnit." Blame the transit strike, snarl a bit and it's all good.

Or you can be cheerier. Totally your call.

Are there street vendors selling "I survived the transit strike of 2005" yet? If so, buy those for everyone. You might even be able to find people running specials with leftover black out t-shirts.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I haven't seen them on the street, but there are at least 3 on Cafepress.
