Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

There was a story a while back in my hometown's paper about a guy who tried to rob the beauty school and got the shit beat out of him by women (and one guy) with brushes and hair dryers.

Here we are. [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think I want Thorlo socks. I haven't even googled them yet, but am easily led.

Trust me, you want them. A lot.

Listen to Cass.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Daisy, that is a wonderful article. I was howling with righteous laughter all throughout.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I think I want Thorlo socks. I haven't even googled them yet, but am easily led.

They are Teh Bomb-Diggety. I have their running socks, and OMG my feet are so happy in them. Up until mile 10 or so. Then, there's nothing anyone can do.

I'm watching the featurette film from the first disk of NewsRadio.

Watching Phil Hartman makes me want to cry.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Looks like a strike is imminent. And plus I've changed my mind. I need these daily depositions to slow the fuck down. Go union!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm having a strange day. I think it's the conference this past weekend. The stress of it, The sort of half party half serious work atmosphere, not having an actual day off, not seeing Mr. Jane since last Thursday and the probability of not seeing him until this Wednesday and then leaving for home (which I also haven't seen since I started this job) Friday after work, having to work late all this week, so on and etc. is making me feel saddish and antsy.

This is also the first time I won't make it in time for the memorial/birthday celebration for Alex which is going to make me wicked depressed on Thursday.

Well, at least Lori is already in town and at her hotel. The rest of y'all are potentially not so lucky.

Space heater is space heating in the bedroom.

My new hair is freaking me out.

My work is going to suck if there is a strike.

What is your hair doing to freak you out, kat?
