I have the day off. Woo.

I woke up 5 minutes before my yoga class. I guess I'll just have to miss it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know what is going to be annoying? I'm going to walk to the subway, and curse each homeowner who has not yet properly cleared their sidewalk of snow and/or ice.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Health~ma to ita and tommyrot.

I hab a cold. And I came to work. and no one else is here (this weekend was big party which I skipped). I am really wishing I stayed home. I find it is almost impossible to judge just how sick I am until I am actually at work. Also, I took dayquil, which, because I react to cold medicine erratically, wither make me want to sleep under my desk, or make me seem like I am on speed.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Emotionally, Perkins.

My sleep patterns are messed up. I'm figuring it's because I slept weird over the weekend and that they'll straighten themselves out for the week.

I woke up early. That almost never happens.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

The classic New Orleans accent is said to sound a bit New Jerseyish.

I asked a linguisics prof about this once, in the context of John Fogerty's sounding like a New York chorus girl from 40s movies ("goil", etc.), and he told me that it's the same effect developing twice: Irish immigrants' accents transmuting in the New World. The weird part is, that "goil" particular part of the accent has almost completely disappeared from New York, except for a vaguely similar effect in native Yiddish speakers; I think it persists still in New Orleans.

Have person in office who is training with leaving coworker. He is from corporate. Have no idea how much slacking I can get away with. Miffed, I am. At least have iPod.

I'm sitting in my office with my monster coat on my lap and my llama(?) wool scarf around my shoulders. Just not right.
