I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

Always Anti-fascist!

KatP, have the best birthday ever. I should have kept Bush on so I could imitate Jon's Bush-cackle, but I caught up on e, instead.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy birthday, Kat!

How much caffeine is in cocoa anyway? Will I be jeopardising a good night's sleep? Have I already jeopardised one by sleeping most of yesterday? Will the Reglan¹ overcome all? Will I be forced to take a Flexeril to beat this fucker?

¹: I read somewhere that this anti-nausea drug prescribed to me for the post-concussive syndrome also functions as a migraine abortive. So my little chain of meds is one pill longer. Still, it's getting late for Flexeril, so I need to make a decision soon.

Jesse! You have paper!

Yes, write. Writing is good. It will make that whole "done with school" thing happen much more quickly.

ita, I have no idea. All I know, is, sans medication intervention, two cups of cocoa affect me none at all, and my max for coffee is a cuppa strong, before 9 am. Not really helpful, huh?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAT!!!!

I miss the wide aisles in CA supermarkets. Between Santiago and now NYC, it's been ages since I went grocery shopping without feeling slightly claustrophobic.

If you'd like, we could go out to my Mother's in the 'burbs and shop to your heart's content.

Did you hear? NYC is getting a Trader Joe's.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

According to this cocoa only has 5 mg of caffeine. That shouldn't be enough to affect sleep.

Oooh, Miss Trudy.

I heard about the Trader Joe's coming to NYC. What I really want to do is go back to Zabar's. Do you know I haven't been back since you and Raul and I went to spend my gift certificate? I still have dreams about that smoked cheddar.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Many Happy Returns of the Day, Kat!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How much caffeine is in cocoa anyway? Will I be jeopardising a good night's sleep?

I'm a little afraid of that myself, given the fact that a second cup of coffee in the morning can fuck with me. (Edit: ok, looking at the numbers that seems a little ridiculous.)

I will write the paper tomorrow. Now I'm doing Econ. Yay for little quizzes online! It totally makes studying fun. For dorky values of fun.
