It's the classic pre-clean, Consuela. I think everyone does it. My apartment is still covered in paper, but at least there are a couple of clean surfaces and no dishes in the sink. Close enough.

It is 55 inside my house. I need to unwrap myself from my comforter, shower, sprint to the farmer's market and then buy one of them long clicky lighters so I can light the pilot light on my heater and stop wanting to just hibernate. Argh indeed, Consuela. I decided to take advantage of Safeway's free delivery offer, and I am sooo glad I did. My power flickered a few minutes ago, and if this keeps up, I won't be surprised if it goes out all the way.
