Our wings are not tired.

Did you know that 75% of the housewives in America have caught the gay because of Ellen Degeneres?

This could be the case with my 84yo mother. She watches every day or tapes because of the addiction. I'll have to ask her later if she is catching the gay. My dear step-dad would be crushed.

(how head hurting that people do believe this)

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Straight isn't nearly as catching as gay is, apparently. Did you know that 75% of the housewives in America have caught the gay because of Ellen Degeneres?

I caught Teh Gay from the Buffistas. But only a mild case, because I still have Teh Het, too.

(Perhaps it's just that I caught Teh All-Inclusive Hoor from the Buffistas....)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The woman really needs Karen Walker to hug her and say "Oh honey, you were a beard for years and never had a single clue? Your school had the short bus and round scissors, didn't it?"

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Jesse needs to be extra careful watching Brokeback, she just might turn into a cowgirl for real!

I totally forgot it was my niece's birthday party today. I had to run around and buy her a present and make it to the train on time.

I got her an inflatable horsie she can bounce on. Fun!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Horsies!!

Sorry. I love horses.

Saw this being spread all over the blogosphere--John Cafferty of CNN had an excellent one-minute recap of this administration's attitude: Just do it!

Who cares if the Patriot Act gets renewed. Want to abuse our civil liberties--Just do it! Who cares about the Geneva conventions? Want to torture prisoners--Just do it! Who cares about rules concerning the identity of CIA gents. Want to reveal the name of a covert operative? Just do it!

Who cares about whether the intelligence concerning WMD's is accurate. You want to invade Iraq? Just do it. Who cares about qualifications to serve on the nation's highest court. Want to nominate a personal friend with no qualifications? Just do it.

And the latest outrage, which I read about in "The New York Times" this morning, who cares about needing a court order to eavesdrop on American citizens. Want to wiretap their phones conversations? Just do it.... What a joke. A very cruel, very sad joke.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I just went back and tried to catch up with the last 500 or so posts since I am now officially on vacation and have time to do things like that.

Reading about ita's searing pain and tommyrot's diagnosis makes me not sad, but angry. Yes I know that is irrational to get angry about good people being in pain. I just hate that you're having to deal with this.

ita, please forgive me if this suggestion has been made or if it isn't your thing, but have you considered acupuncture to help with the pain management? I only ask because it helped me to manage some intense pain a couple of years ago.

Also, you all probably already saw it, but I smiled when I realized that krav was a central plot point in How I Met Your Mother this week.

Tom Scola is indeed a fun and wonderful uncle.

Allyson, I'm sorry about the 3000 miles and the Old Flame's girlfriend. I wish...oh who am I kidding, I wish he'd ditch his girlfriend and move to LA and swear his undying love to you. Failing that, I wish you happy crushitude without pain.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I got her an inflatable horsie she can bounce on. Fun!

You're trying to turn her into a cowgirl, aren't you? Admit it!!

As an uncle, it's my *job* to corrupt them!
