Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Jesse, I have a video file of the Charlie Brown Christmas, and if you remind me once I get back home next week, I can yousendit to you.

When I read the "they have a plan" part, my first reaction was, "just like the Cylons."

Mine was more hoping that in their plan, they were maybe not so beltless. Glad you have a diagnosis, and all good thoughts for the best possible outcomes.

Not that I in any way discourage eating cookie dough.

Because that would be wrong. The discouraging.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That would be fabu, Dana. I have to admit, though, I really love the Grinch best. Even though I've gotten to a place in my life where I @@ at the idea that "the real meaning of Christmas is giving."

Oh, and I missed the 11a Jesse Makeover show and am now sad.

So sad about John Spencer, too,

And JZ, sorry for your brother's troubles.

On a different note, Santa came through the hood on a fire truck tonight, and my 7-y.o. niece happens to be spending the night. She was So. Very. Excited. to see Santa. Woot! Serendipity rocks.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

The recipe calls for 2 eggs. I've made them with one egg and they were okay, but they're really best with no eggs at all. The butter and sugar carmelize in this wonderful crunchy way.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I will have to try that. Sounds excellent.

In other news, I'm slightly drunk, and have a new pink razr.

How related are those two things?

Oh, I'm not so sick now. Just was. And have had a few leftover episodes. Sigh

BUT! I talked to my brother. And got to talk to my very-not-going-to-bed-nephew. I'm Aunt Saya now. I used to be Aunt Saar. So funny. They are going to the space center in Huntsville tomorrow. D is SO EXCITED BECAUSE ASTRONAUTS when he isn't planning on being a dinosaur (RAAAWWWR) when he grows up.

Three year olds are fun. As much as I dread the rest, can't wait to see him. I also now know to buy him a watch. And something to get SIL (Charmed.)

Maybe if I can kidnap the nephew (don't tell my SIL) I'll have a good time.

Jen, that's awesome. Savor it.

Jesse did drunk buying! Now she can drunk dial!

I'm gonna have to try no-egg chocolate chip cookies. My grandmother made the thinnest, most melt in you mouth, lovely brown cc cookies. And insisted she followed the nestle recipe. I haven't had cookies like she made since she died, over 11 years ago now. Haven't had her letter cookies either, but that recipe is lost now. Sadly. They were like shortbread, but not, pushed through a pastry tube into various letters. She always made an equal number of Js and Ss, so me and brother didn't fight. One of her few concessions to equality between us.

I don't know, but your package arrived right around Thanksgiving. I haven't had a chance to try any of them yet, but they look delicious. Thanks again! That was so generous of you.

I have to admit, though, I really love the Grinch best.

Oh, I do too. I always have to watch the part where his heart grows three sizes.
