Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks, Hec! But contacts really don't work for me. And I do love the shoes, and I don't style my hair like that, and it's fab -- literally I can airdry it with product, and it still looks great.

Wait, he said that when filming was taking place? OMG.

Yeah, that's when I lost my shit in the hair and makeup room.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ouch, Tom. Is it causing you any pain, or any increase in vision problems?

There's been no pain at all. Which is unusual, but not unknown. The vision it that eye is very slowly getting worse. At this point I see much better with that eye closed than with both eyes open.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But contacts really don't work for me.

Well, at least you have Option B covered stylishly. You really looked great. Sassy and professional and very very pretty.

tommyrot, that sucks.

I like cool glasses, like Kat and Jesse have and wear so well. But then, as of yet, I don't need them, so I'll just admire.

Back when I was in my teens, I came across my grandmother's reading glasses, which were of a similar style and thought they looked so fab. I guess I was ahead of my time, stylewise.

Our wings are not tired.

I love fun glasses, but I see better with contacts. The being able to see stuff won out over fashion. DH sees much better with glasses, the contacts don't work for him. The eyes they are picky.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I wore contacts for years, but for years my eyes were always irritated. I figured, eh. Maybe I'll get lasic at some point.

sarameg - Dec 15, 2005 4:29:37 pm PST #2466 of 10002

My dad so wants lasic. Except his eyes are the kind that it doesn't work on. I suspect if they come up with a fix the day before he keels over, he'll get it done, just because. He's been bitching about his glasses since he got them 20 years ago, I swear. It has toned down since he got progressive lenses, because now he forgets to take them off rather than forgets to put them on and loses them.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm generally too lazy to put my contacts in, and only do so if I'm going to (1) a social event [errrr....I basically mean dinner with friends, not, like, a swanky party or something], (2) get my hair cut [because I'm a control freak and MUST see everything that's going on, or (3) involved in some sort of sporting event [fencing while wearing glasses -- never a good idea].

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am watching the ANTM reunion show. It is kinda annoying so far (20 min in). Does it get any better?

Rerun of csi is the freaky teeth lady. I wonder if she got the role because of them or they gave her fake ones.

Freaky TEETH.
