Natter 41: Why Do I Click on ita's Links?!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
jealous hatahs.
I don't even HAVE a station!
Oh, wait...
add it to the list of why you might wanna move here.
Sorry, you are further north, I'm not allowed.
Hee--Alton Brown's new website has some T-shirts available for sale. My favorite is "Science--it's what's for dinner."
further north, but I think actually warmer and with less snow. ijs.
Perkins, you're up in NorCal, right? I moved up here 15 or so years ago. I never bothered transferring to a NorCal membership because I would have had to pay a fee to do it and the only difference in membership would have been getting the NorCal AAA mag instead of the SoCal one.
What Spidra said . I still have my NJ AAA membership. It's honored at all AAA clubs, so it's never been an issue.
I am up here, in Belmont. I certainly didn't bother before, but SoCal sent me a letter telling me I should, and there's no fees involved for me, and no loss of seniority, and work is really really slow, so I decided to just switch.
In other efforts to fill up my time, I called the animal licensing people to see what I should do about the fact that I had two cats, and not just one they had a record of. In the course of that conversation, I discovered that in order to get the cheaper altered cat rate, I would need a neutering certificate for both cats. The local vet was willing to give me them (both cats came to me pre-neutered but certificateless), and I am now the proud possessor of two Castration Certificates. Go me!
I think that talk belongs in Minearverse.
I have to get my cat licensed? Oy. You craxy NoCal people with your rules and the glayvin.
