Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Catch up from the day:

I have no idea if we get bonuses here, or when. Everyone is so nice, I feel like it would be kind of rude to ask.

Count me in with YAY, the real TAR is coming back crowd.

Network at work is down. Way down. Except I can still surf using the blackberry. Can't do much work, though.

Did we switch jobs? My network has worked okay all day today. Well, except for that email server thing, and the fact that they did something to disable access to the CD drives firm wide.

I vote for a trip to Zam Zam this weekend, just to check it our for when Juliana gets here.

Perkins and Sparky, if you're still around, I'd like to join the Brokeback Mountain expedition on Saturday. I suggest we pick somewhere Outside the Embarcadero Center to meet, since I always get horribly lost in there.

Yay! Except now I need to go back and revise all the emails I've been responding to all afternoon, since I didn't have this Very.Important.Piece of information.

The network goes down for 30 minutes and it's all Lord of the Flies down there.

Wait, it's not normal for to have a breakdown of civilization when the network goes down? What else can you do when you can't check out code?

Consuela, is your mindspring address still good, or should we have been using another one?

I love the fact that when you go to the Spam folder in GMail there is a random link to a receipe using SPAM.

dinner is always good.

So I'm digging around MySpace and spying on my students. I especially like the fact that one of the kids, in her profile put:

Hair Color: pink like my teacher's hair

bwahahahaah..

Also, myspace? weird. They need to put less personal info out there so publically.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I've heard that about Myspace, Kat. But then I've seen people put the most TMI things on LJ, too. Can you lock or filter Myspace posts?

a guy at my work is really active on myspace. it kinda weirds me out, but then again I am on a (formally) Buffy board all day long, so there's that.

I guess the TMI stuff is fascinating to me because, like most of us, my students have the sense that they can't be found. But, silly children. I found them in less than 30 minutes. It helps that their group is the name of my school. Grrr.

I'm creeped out that they put their pictures out there.

You can lock things to friends only, like LJ.

I mean, in fairness, my LJ has way too much info about me. But at this point, it's all locked because, I'd like to have nominal control over dissemination of the info I put out there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's a myspace group for the krav centre. One of the members was trying to talk me into joining myspace and the group.

Oh, many sorts of hell no.
