Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

You know what is disturbingly good? Ciao Bello caramel gelato with Starbucks Coffee Liqueur on top, that's what.
Not disturbing at all. Jealous-making, perhaps.
You know, there's a reason I do like going to krav, even when I don't feel well. Because there's social contact. It makes me feel less like a caged freak. Plus, there's the bonus of conversations like this:
A: "So when I punch, my forearm will be like those things SWAT uses to open the doors?"
B: "Whuh? Yeah...I guess it's like Grond from Lord Of The Rings. You know...the batt..."
me: "You know the name of the battering ram from Return Of The King? You're a big geek."
B&A: "You like sci-fi! You're a geek too!"
B, conspiratorially: "She totally likes Firefly."
me, muttering: "It's not the same."
[...]
me: "I mean, the battering ram? Knowing the names of the swords is one thing."
B: "Swords?"
me: "Sting, Glamdring, whatever."
B: "You know Glamdring?"
me: "IT WAS IN THE BOOK. And it's very pretty."
B: "Uhuh. Different."
Heee.
ita is making me like krav.
SpyDaddy is making me like a little treason between old friends .

That's only when you have too much alcohol, which would be considered bad, or at least naughty.
I only today found out that one of the swords in LotR was named Sting. Did Sting the music guy take his name from that?

Feels good until it feels bad. Like heat on my back.
Cass, did I mention that many of the instructors are hot guys?
That's cheating!
And maybe more than a little compelling.
But with the alcohol, that's true for most people. With the heat, it's more specific to you, which makes it more unfortunate.
