Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And plaid pants, I must say.

I'm out of episodes. So sad. But I think TV Land will be airing them normally in the new year.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Best board books ever. Now I totally have Christmas presents for all my gestating and newly sprogged friends.

Oh, cool on the Firefly reference. I find myself looking forward to each Bones episode now, it seems to have finally "clicked."

Bones is good candy. I'm not sure if it has any other redeeming value (little of what I watch does) but for some reason, the Angela character seems like someone I know. I just can't figure out who.

I'm trying to place Miami Vice. All of the popular childhood-era shows usually have some exterior point of reference because they weren't watched in our house. CHiPs was the Fidler house. As was Dallas. MV probably was too. But then, so was the Smurfs, though at the Oxford house, not the Picacho one.

This is kind of funny. Now that I think of it, a lot was at the Fidler house, but I don't actually remember physically watching anything but the French b&w Beauty and the Beast in their house.

Aaand now, it's getting me all historical because we used to do a night of Chanukah with them, as well as other jewish holidays and they did a pseudo-x-mas with us and now we're all grown up and their mother and grandmother are dead, and I've got the eldest's art on my walls and..oh, so much history.

I think it's good and right to be askeered of Miami Vice.

Today has been a day of the Internet as a tool for locating others. I found an old roommate from DC who know works in LA. And I found the myspace blog community my students are a part of. Which feels like sweet sweet revenge for one of them finding my live journal (which is now duly locked)

Haha, Kat!

You realize, you just started a massive googling effort.

Still wonder what happened to my West Point boy.... Unfortunately, he has a famous name.

Dear Friend In From Out Of Town,

The sooner you make your plans, the more likely I can haul my ass out of the house to do dinner with you, and the more likely you're to get Colin to come across town after a day of work.

I know you're at someone else's mercy, but I'm going to need to eat or sleep pretty soon.

Thanks,
ita.

Who doesn't love Google!

I just googled myself with usual work/grown up/legal name and found a place that had an email I didn't want out there. So I fixed it. and it immediately fell off google. Henh.
