Good luck. I'm trying to concentrate on work and not think about my totally miserable home life.

Aw, Gud, that sucks. At least when I leave the office at the end of the day, I don't have to deal with these people until the next morning.

This isn't helping me not want to hurt them, however. Maybe I ought to switch back to punk...

And now I've tried to make a PDF from MS Visio (It's an org chart) and all the names are gibberish.

::shakes fists of rage at universe::

On edit: aha, I have solved it! Visio will not talk to PDFWriter, but it will talk to Distiller. Yay!

That's not buddies.

I really and truly cannot wait to be rid of my boss.

Don't you deserve your own cake?

Thank you! Maybe this can be my excuse to get something totally rich and scrumptious for dessert today. (And now I'm wondering about the etymology of "scrumptious".)

eta: thanks for the sympathy, y'all.

However, I haven't seen anything yet about the handset itself being magnetic.

I think I'm losing my mind. I may have posted this somewhere, god knows where , but maybe it is something like why my laptop is magnetic.

Things are going rapidly south here. Nothing that I can DO anything about, but... critical disks failing ledt and right.

My birthday was Saturday, Nilly - the 10th. Which was the day of our company team-building and holiday party, so I spent about 12 hours of my birthday in the constant company of my coworkers.

Who are mostly very nice, but I'd rather have had the day to myself.

My birthday was Saturday

Oh, then, um, happy still-first-week-of-your-new-age! Or something. I hope you have a great year!

Maybe this can be my excuse to get something totally rich and scrumptious for dessert today

Totally.

Gud, I'm so sorry for all that you're dealing with.

I spent about 12 hours of my birthday in the constant company of my coworkers.

That sounds much less like fun than should be allowed on your birthday. ijs

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's pretty much what I thought. So I whined a lot, and I got a cake, and people said "happy birthday" a lot. But they didn't give me the Nano we had as a raffle prize. Which would bother me more if it wasn't the same size as the iPod mini I already have...
