No. I love pepper. But white pepper does not smell as good nor, to me, taste as good.

Had I not known, I would have guessed you have a brother. You may have been lucky, but I was far too negatively acclimated to the smell of socks. Also? Old onion smells remind me of my brother's teenage years.

I don't think I have consumed white peppercorns. My love for the black variety is great so I won't be rushing to try them either.

They're the same corns, but they're processed differently. White peppercorns are more mature, and have had the black outer hull removed.

All's I know is there is 4 times more white pepper than black pepper in a good cajun spice rub. Mostly it's paprika, chili, and red, but there's way more white than black, and only a tiny bit of salt.
Tomorrow will be a bad day. On the upside, people have made it easier on me by getting my to do list done without me having to do anything. On the downside I pushed all my list aside for scotch and puppy kisses.
Seriously, today until 7:30, tomorrow until 8:00. Out of town until Sunday and then late hours until I drive home to Louisiana for Christmas, and then back and back to long hours until NYE , where I will play pretty hostess.
