I was gonna say, what is the freezing point of gasoline?
It's hard to say, because it's a mixture of so much stuff. Isooctane (after which octane ratings are named) freezes at -107°C. It wouldn't hang around though. A lot of it would sublime off into the vacuum every time it got hit with some sunlight, sorta like a comet.
Now, if they'd put a Mercury Comet up there, that would've been cool.
It was my Voyager jumps the shark episode.
So it was episode 3 or 4 of Season one, then?
Oh, right, hotel. Registration and stuff.
Remind me that this year, I'm not volunteering to moderate anything. And I'm drinking more.
Laura's announced she's only going to the vid show; the rest of the time she's in the bar. I may do the same, except there's also a beach nearby, and I like beaches...

Almost, I think it was the S2 premiere.

See, I'd think it would boil off first, because of the vacuum of space. Unless the aliens pre-chilled it. In any event, the temperature of an object in a vacuum (or near-vacuum) varies by a huge amount depending on how much sunlight the object receives. (An atmosphere tends to moderate the temperatures of objects within it.) IIRC, temperatures of objects on the moon can vary between -200F and +200F or more depending on how much sun is hititng it.
(suddenly glad to watch shows where all they sell is drugs) Although Escalades do get kind of heavy play.
Although Baltimore is calling in another media consultant to "fix" its "hopeless" image after Simon's been working on it.
Oh, goodie, I forgot about a subconsultant. Yikes.

Also known as, if you didn't have crime and shit, people would not be making TV shows about it, yesno?
Of course, the crime aspect of "crime and shit" is kind of incidental to the themes of
The Wire,
and that's also true in some ways for
Homicide.
The former is really a show about work-hierarchies and interpersonal relationships (one of these workplaces just happens to be a drug empire, but the other is a police department); the latter is about philosophy.
