hip deep in pie

My aluminum tree is silver only and from the 50s/60s and not viscious at all.

I have an aluninum tree at work, but it's more vintage tacky 70's. It needs more orange satin ornaments, though.

What is even happening?

You can have viscous aluminum?

I've been waiting for someone to ask that, Emily.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The never said "viscous." They said "viscious."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, that's gross. Go out and splurge on some cream.

The cocoa thing is my emergency fix. It's really quite good -- better than running to the store in my robe, for sure.

Second-to-last day at crappy job! Yay! And there's a new person starting today, filling a job that's been empty for months and months, who will help my boss a lot, so that's even better.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for almost last day, Jesse.

I don't have any milk either, or cocoa mix, so my coffee will have to wait until I pass a starbucks.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I scared the cats when I literally laughed out loud.

I think it's one of the few times recently I have laughed not only out loud, but continued to laugh long after the line was over- whasserface's delivery was perfect too.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

The never said "viscous." They said "viscious."

That's true. You can get viscious aluminum?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Timelies,

Gronk. Couldn't fall asleep until after 2am last night for some stupid reason.

Also, realizing that sometime before Friday I need to clean my house, put up my Christmas tree and bake cookies. Plus, I really need to finish my Christmas shopping this week so as to not face the ravaging hordes that flood the mall on the week of Christmas. Ugh.

OK, that's one part of the holiday that is fun: watching the animals go out of their furry little minds over various ornaments.

PVP had a great comic along that vein last week, but I can't link it because the site is either down or my work has started blocking it. Grr.

Maybe it's Vichy aluminum, or would that be aluminium?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Viscious: goopy and evil!
