Kate P. - returned. Using a program on your computer is faster than the online stuff. OpenOffice.org is worthwhile for conversion abilities alone. It can open just about anything, save to a wide variety, and has print to pdf built in.

Oh and in addition to the MAC version of Open Office, there is something similar designed from ground up for MACS, though as Wintel person I don't know offhand what it is.
