OK, that's one part of the holiday that is fun: watching the animals go out of their furry little minds over various ornaments.

I'm probably painting the holiday worse than it is. I'm just unexcited right now.

Talking to my parents for nearly 2 hours wasn't such a good idea. Good conversation and all, I'm just now so hoarse that any more talking and I start coughing. Annoying. I think it was being outside in the cold dry air earlier that set it off.

142 songs in the Christmas playlist. I am shuffling through them now. Some of most favorite stuff is on LP though. I need to figure out what is wrong with my turntable so I can play those too.
