I agree that last night's episode was the best yet this season. The Nigerian drug plane being on the island is blowing my mind. I don't think that the drug plane ever flew anywhere near the Pacific Ocean. It's too small. And yet, it crashed on the island. I'm not quite sure how to resolve these things in my head. It's almost enough to finally break my suspension of disbelief with this show, but I like it too much.
Also, I kind of felt like Charlie was high when he was fishing with Jin at the beginning of the show. His nonsense chattering had a bit of "yeah, it feels good to do some smack again" vibe to it. I'm willing to believe that was the first time he'd tried it since The Moth.

Charlie saves the day when Aaron needs some serious cough medicine!

I remember the first runs of both shows.

Maybe the island moves.
Maybe the island moves.
I was thinking something like that.
It's Morla!
Or Atlantis.
Ah, so Eko flashes in the black smoke.
Here's what I'm thinking: the black-smoke-monster-"security-system" thingie has, as far as we know, only spared Locke and Eko, of the people who it has confronted.
Maybe what the images are is, the black-smoke-monster shows people their ugliest, most monstrous aspects (while with Mr. Eko it wasn't taken literally, showing the absolute worst things he did, the idea that it's like a flashback machine is what I mean, and it flashed back to Mr. Eko's ugly past), and only the people who are strong and/or crazy enough to face and accept their own ugliness are spared.
The show-no-fear theory of surviving weird shit on a fucked-up island, if you will.
Ooh! I like that theory, Tep.
