Not only that, but I suppose he was thinking there was a very real chance he wasn't going to get off the island even if he survived the sub. If we were to take bets, how many of the people we know are on the island will be able to leave it, do you think?
Only if Daniel's mother shows up with reinforcements do I think more than like 2 people will be able to leave.
Drowning is a terrible way to go, though.
From the TWoP interview:
Daniel Dae Kim: Mindy, did you know TWoP is one of the only sites I read about the show? TWoP: Is it really?! Kim: Mm-hmm. TWoP: Are you a fan of our recapper? Kim: I am, and I think the people who are writing into your forum are very smart. Very detail-oriented, but not in a freakish kind of way. [Laughs.]
Woot! Go Cindy!!
Oh Rayne, I freaking plotzed. I'd be plotzing still, had last night's episode shattered my brittle heart.
And man, I'm starting to realize how much I'm going to miss this show when it ends.
I can't even think about it. Pragmatism aside (the recap for Lost pays, literally, 10 times what the weecap for HIMYM pays, and 5 times what the weecap for The Vampire Diaries pays), I...I...don't know what I'm going to do with myself. As a viewer, I mean. This was my last thinky show.
I keep thinking it's going to be either Jack and Locke, or Jack and Sawyer for the Jacob/Smokey replacements. But then I think Bernard and Rose (white and black, male and female, science vs. magic) will be Adam and Eve, so maybe they'll be the replacements, too.
I can't believe there are three weeks left and we still don't know what the hell is going on. Tied to a Tree in a Jungle of Mystery, indeed.
I can't believe there are three weeks left and we still don't know what the hell is going on.
I was thinking of that too. They're going to need that extra half hour to explain everything!
So I was reading this Damon-and-Carlton interview and was kind of pleased that we were on the same page. Because one thought I came away with after last night is that Smokey is clearly, and without a doubt, evil, and he needs to be stopped. I did enjoy the ambiguity throughout the season that made me frequently question whether he wasn't as bad as the text kept saying he was, but now I am sure that motherfucker needs to get got.
I just watched and am heartbroken about Jin and Sun! I no longer care what happens to any of the others except Hurley!
Damn you show!
I woulda liked that episode to end with the image of Jin's hand drifting away from Sun's. That was some of the most powerful imagery i've seen in a long time. Guess that mighta been to "down".
Woot! Go Cindy!!
Absolutely. Congrats on the well-deserved recognition. (And hey, the reference to your 11-year-old in your recap can't be to The Princess can it? No way. Because she is still just a little thing. As is Narrator Niece. Who definitely did not *SIGH* and join team Jacob when the actor took off his shirt in the latest "Twilight" movie that she made Aunt Narrator take her to.)
Ah Narrator, it is the Princess. I took her and her friends to see the latest Twilight as her birthday celebration. They may have sighed. Or possibly Wooo-ed. She and the Narrator Niece are so precocious for the 3 year olds they surely must be.
How are you? No luck getting CB to watch Lost, I see.
My recap of last week's show went up today. It's here: [link]
Wait, what was Esau's name again? Mumbly Claudia was mumbling.
I thought she said "I only picked one name". So, seriously, still no name?
