Damn, this episode had a high goddamn body count!
Sun and Jin drowning together didn't make me cry. *Hurley* losing it made me cry. (And I puddled up a little when alternate!Locke was telling Jack about his father. Plus, I remain agog at the differences in the timelines.)
Also, weren't Miles, Ben, and Richard headed off to find the plane and blow it up? Because if they were, they're *really* slow.
I can't recall where Miles, Ben, and Richard were supposed to have been. Okay, I cried for Sun and Jin and for Hurley crying for Sun and Jin.
I hope that Jack & co. get to Desmond before UnLocke.
Okay, I cried for Sun and Jin and for Hurley crying for Sun and Jin.
Me too. And I was shocked at how cavalierly Frank got offed by the door. That felt almost Jossian to me.
You know it's bad when Hurley cries.
But we can still have hope for Sun and Jin in alterna- verse, right?
And I was shocked at how cavalierly Frank got offed by the door. That felt almost Jossian to me.
I wasn't sure he was dead. I kept waiting to see whether he'd make it out and wondered if I'd missed it.
Oh my God! They Killed Sun and Jin (and Frank)! YOU BASTARDS!!!!!!!
And Sayid, whose mysterious resurrection's mystery remains mysterious.
Now we love to give you false hope (false hope)
And so at the end of days,
The Sun and Jin reunion
Will end in a watery grave.
Woahh...
Pure speculation here...
I have this idea for the finale that has the alt-universe passengers of flight 815 gather as a group, and everything finally clicks into place.
Everyone, from Scott and Steve to the final few, together in southern California. After a bit of "Did this really happen?" things go silent.
Then Hurley, with Libby by his side, says, "Anyone want some chicken?" They all look at him.
The final scene is the entire cast of survivors and assorted loved ones in a big picnic by the beach, catered by Mr Clucks.
The only question is if someone from the cast will be on the island, or if The Man in Black and Jacob will be back again, waiting for the next game...
And I was shocked at how cavalierly Frank got offed by the door. That felt almost Jossian to me.

Me, too! I kept asking The Boy, "Did Lapidus make it? Or did the door kill him?"
Lapidus was never anything more than a plot device, really, so it makes sense to me that the show hardly noticed he died too.
We DID see alterna!Jin briefly, bringing flowers into a hospital room, so presumably they're doing well there.
I know we still have alterna!Sayid, but I wouldn't be surprised, since he's already returned from the dead once, this death doesn't entirely take either.
