Since Claire's last name *was* on the wall in Jacob's cave, does that mean than Aaron is a potential (and not on the island, so by smokeylocke's logic they can never leave) or was he just lying to her?
eta: or is it just a "no potential can be left on the island" scenario in which case having Aaron and Jian off the island already makes them irrelevant to the planning?

He was annoyed that time Kate found his fake beard on the ground and then his locker. He was all, "I have a locker ? And this beard is fake ? You couldn't have told me that?" So when there was a bit about Kate taking a shower and she told him not to peek, and his line was "You're not my type," he decided that if Kate wasn't his type...Sawyer was. He started playing Friendly as gay. For instance, when they asked him why he was throwing the football so terrible, he was all, "He's never thrown a football in his life! But if Jack wants to throw a football, he's going to throw a football!" And then the writers made it textually canon.

Desmond episode. He gets a sideways story at least. I guess Richard was too early an islander for that.
