So, I'm assuming that island!Sayid isn't actually Evil -- that he didn't kill Dargon (was that his name) and the translator because he had become fully Evil; he did it because it was part of the deal that he made with smokey!Locke. But he made the deal while still being Not Evil, is my assumption.
Also, if Dargon(?) was from Japan in island!storyline, I'm wondering how he and his son got to America and to the piano auditions in non-crash!storyline.
And Keamy as mafia/mobster/thug doesn't surprise me one bit.
And while Jin in the fridge initially made me go WTF, it does actually make sense, because Jin was supposed to deliver a watch to a "business associate" of Sun's father. That was probably Keamy.
Oh SHIT! Jin!!!! I'm not liking the possible outcomes here.
That was the biggest WTF in the episode for me, I think. The Sideways world just got veeeeeery interesting. How did he end up there? What will Sayid do? HE IS YOUR FRIEND IN ANOTHER TIMELINE MAN.
On the other hand, Keamy keeps dying. Ha!
that he didn't kill Dargon (was that his name)
Dogen. Dargon is the sort of hero who accidentally takes women's virginities.

Yeah, I was wondering that too. Also, that story made me interested in him as a character...and then he died. Dammit!

Ooh. And isn't Sun's father associated with Widmore? I mean, normally? Er. You know what I mean.
Kate has no fucking clue what she just got herself into, does she.
Where on earth are Sawyer and Jin on the island? Did Ben catch up with Ilana et. al. after Sayid freaked his shit out?
My TiVo cut the show off, damn it! What happened at the very very end?
Claire led Kate and Sayid outside the temple, where Smocke was waiting with all the Temple folk who had left. He surveyed his new clan—giving Kate a quizzical look, since she clearly wasn't supposed to be there—and set off into the jungle as the group followed.
Man, not just Dogen, but Sol too! Or whatever the hell was the character's actual name.
But on the other hand, it's hard to argue with Sayid. They did try to torture him and kill him a lot.
I keep thinking of him as Sol, too.
Poor Sayid, if the sideways timeline is a Last Temptation deal and Not!Locke sends him over there where he still can't have Nadia, how unfair would that be?
I can't track where all the characters physically are at this point, much less what they are trying to accomplish. But that is somehow fine.
DVR didn't record the show. Thanks folks for posting, and letting me know there was one. Thankfully the episode is on the ABC website. Crazy! Lots of action this week. Dunno if any answers were given.
