Well- it's looking like maybe it was Rousseau that was infected, if the parallel to Claire is apt and if the Temple Dude was telling the truth. Interesting!

Hmm, interesting, good point.
I was just following the equation that seemed to be laid out in the last 5 minutes of the ep. "If Claire=infected, and infected Claire=Rosseau appearance and paranoid island trigger traps, then Rosseau= infected."
But as you point out, probably erroneous.
