I wonder if Sayid was the only way into the Temple that Jacob could use to let the Others know he (Jacob) was dead.
Why didn't we see the Miles/Sawyer skirmish? Random. Why would the Others bring them back to the Temple as well?

I take it back - I think I might dig a season of alternate realities for all these characters. I have a feeling the various positive and negative outcomes could prove gutting on both sides of the equation though.
I'm wondering what the point of the AU is. I don't want them to waste half a season on a What If? universe if it's not going to really have a point. I wonder if the timelines are going to converge somehow in order to not break causality too much.
I'm hoping Juliet is alive and well in the AU, though. Maybe she didn't go to the Island...which is now underwater for some reason. I guess because she blew it up. Er.
