YES! That too. God, that was hilarious. He was so matter-of-fact about it. Like, "Come on, anyone would do the same thing in my shoes."

Lost 2: Tied to a Tree in a Jungle of Mystery
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Also gotta give the writers credit for building up Caesar into a character who seemed to be "important" only to blow him away so quickly.
What got me laughing was Ben admitting that he killed Locke because he didn't have enough time to talk him BACK into suicide.
I had to pause Tivo because I was laughing so hard. I loved this entire episode--the writing, and watching O'Quinn and Emerson play off each other.
Did anyone else stand up and cheer when Des was beating Ben up? I was saying "yeah!" with every punch he landed!
The new people going crazy is an interesting idea, but I got the impression that they had been planning this all along, and the reasons they were on the plane were bogus. Or not.
And we don't know that Caesar is dead, yet.
I think Ben is Gul Du Kat. Locke might be Garak.
It all started for me Dec 9, 2008. And, as of a few minutes ago, I am officially caught up on LOST. So, I enter the thread saying "WTF!"
The cool part about being caught up, is I can participate in here. The crappy thing is, now I gotta wait a week for the next episode!
I'm not sure Locke has enough of a sense of humor to be Garak. Locke might be Kai Wynn.
I'm loving this show so much. It's just crazy fun.
I really didn't expect it to turn so fascinating as it neared the end -- most shows peter out, you know? But it really feels as though the mysteries will be tied up enough to be satisfying, if they continue on this way.
I'm glad you brought up the music, Frankenbuddha, because I always note how much I like the music, then forget about it by the time I'm here. It really is excellent.
Someone called the Horace - Horus, and Egyptian connection.
I'm not satisfied with the going-crazy of the French. It hasn't been explained adequately what happened to them, I think. We saw them all acting perfectly normal, washing in on the shore, then we saw Danielle being revealed to be Danielle in one ep; then in another, being hysterical about the other French persons being infected; then last week, we saw her alone with the baby - so we have only her word to take that they others were infected with something and went insane. Right? Did I miss something? or rather, what did I miss?
Longer range point: is there actually any sort of infection going around at all? The button-pusher in the dome started on it with Desmond. Danielle goes on/has gone on about it regularly. Anyone else? Most of the babies die, but that's infant not adult mortality.
There was a scene before the one with the baby -- where they were menacing her with rifles and she shot them, I think. Unless I'm also misremembering.
Oh, she killed them dead. Yeah, it's her word that went insane, except... for how her husband tried to kill her (ETA: after she lowered her weapon) except the gun jammed.
