When people started dying and getting bloody noses, I had a feeling it would be sooner as opposed to later.
Which means: there are a lot more island adventures and that there might be 1-2 episodes of epilogue.

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

I suspect the marshall probably stayed on the plane (where it rains in Spain), since I don't think she was ever on the island.
I thought the promo showed the marshall on the island, as well as Extra Random Guy who spoke to Jack in the ticket line.

I missed that in the promo. Maybe they showed the marshall because of a flashback?
Desmond was NOT on the plane, right (my memory is fuzzy, and I've already deleted the episode)? Doesn't that frell things up?
I am very curious! For instance, what the fuck happened to Kate?
I want to know who beat the crap out of Ben. I also hope we get to see it.

When Locke said "I remember my death," (or possibly "I remember dying") it looked like the marshall was standing next to him somewhere on the island (the beach camp?) at night.

Ben said he had a loose end to tie up right? Didn't he want to get revenge on Widmore by killing Penny? And when he told Jack to pick up Locke's body, wasn't Ben at a marina?
I'm guessing he did at least seriously injure Penny and that's what will bring Desmond back to the island (to get revenge on Ben).
Teppy, the recaplet (much shorter than a recap; but still detailed because...well, I can't do too short) is here: [link]

I don't think so, Frank, because he wasn't on the plane the first time. He was already on the island and had gotten there on his boat. Remember Mrs. Faraday said they had to try to make everything as similar as possible to the Oceanic 815 flight.
I hope to high heaven that Ben didn't kill Penny, because Penny and Desmond's love is the one (other than Bernard and Rose) that matters to me on this show. And if the little weasel did kill her, I need to see it, because the Penny/Desmond storyline has been fairly important right along.
You mean the obit that you could only read if you froze and blew up a frame?
You mean the obit that Jack read and was the reason HE was about to jump off a bridge? Jack knew Locke killed himself. That was all really confusing.
You two are awful snippy this morning. What gives?

Good point! Of course Jack read it!
I didn't think I was being snippy, Cindy (and I didn't take P-C's post as such). Sorry if it came across that way.
I too was not intending to be snippy, just responding in turn.

And then there was the whole thing Richard said to Locke: "You're going to have to die, John." He was going to have to die in order convince the rest to come back. Which also implied that he would have to kill himself. So the fact that John killed himself shouldn't have been a huge surprise to the audience, but I am really baffled as to why it was to Jack, who read the damn obituary (a prop that even that long ago had the name Jeremy Bentham on it). The Lost producers KNOW the fandom screencaps the shit out of everything—hell, they COUNT on it—so I'm really surprised they fucked this up. Maybe Jack didn't believe the obit, but even then, it shouldn't have come as such a big shock since the seed had already been planted.
