If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That would have been an outstanding episode if I'd gotten to see DDK shirtless. As is, I'm tempted to replay the Jack/Kate kiss over and over. She definitely skews my Kinsey scale. I thought it was Sawyer that was hot when those two kissed, now I know it's her.

Art Crawl!!!

It was so kind of Sayid to answer my question.

I love how when Mr. Eko needs to think about something he just stops talking.

Hmmm, so there is a 3rd hatch with another computer and the Others?

(Preview: Don't shoot the horsey!)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

thoughts about the computer/film/transmission:

1) There is much more film spliced out of the training film. Why would people want to take that out? (ETA- I mean, the splice they just put back in) Unless... it is one of the many ka-razy Others plots.

2) Now, we assume that Locke hit the answer key in time, but it seemed to be simultaneous to the clock hitting zero. What if he hit Execute a hair after it hit zero? Could that have nullified the system, which could have been a security system to avoid another "incident"....

3) which may very well be The Others infiltrating the computer system? So now they have access? And did they splice the film so to downplay the importance of not using the computer for non-number inputting? Who else would want to remove that info? Why would The Others want to get into the system? WHO ARE THEY WORKING FOR?!!?!?!? I am confuzzled.

I do not think that was Walt on the computer, but I think it was whoever has Walt.

I thought it was cool that Sawyer saw the horse too. Adds to the mystical nature of the island... more than hallucinations.

Loves me some Eko. Looking forward to more Locke/Eko dynamics.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Loved the "Hello?" even if there was a moment of cognitive dissonance having it happen to the only cast member who was also in The Matrix. (Okay, not the first one, but still, I can't have been the only one expecting the computer to tell him to follow the white rabbit.)

Eko makes me happy. I hope it's a while before we get his backstory, because right now I'm digging the mysterious silent thing he's got going.

Loved Hurley's thumbs-up to Jin in the beginning.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I like that Ana Lucia is tough. I like that she's tomboyish and is willing to kill for vengence and protection. I understand her psychology and I find her extremely sexy.

What I absolutely detest about her is her inability to see beyond her own stubborn decisions. Once she's made a decision, she'll plow ahead no matter how fucked up things get. And she pushes everyone else along with her. She expects everyone to follow her with no questions asked because she saved them in the beginning. Nobody knows what's going on. Nobody knows exactly what to do. Not even her. She covers her insecurity with determination at the expense of others. That, to me, is a supreme example of a shitty leader.

I just wanted everyone to tell her to fuck off. She's still self-righteous under the guilt. She hasn't learned her lesson yet.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Yeah, but they seem to be showing her as DelayedEmotionsGirl.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

So Jack is like Clinton, and Ana Lucia is like Dubya?

Yes. I was definitely comparing Ana Lucia to Shrub in my head.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

When Kate motored off and they showed the house facade for a beat too long afterwards, I immediately thought "Oh come on, they're not actually gonna—" KA-BLOOEY!!!

I am glad that her murder was a coldly premeditated one, and that her espoused reason for it was crazy resentment/overidentification rather than just mom-protection.
