Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

Lost 2: Tied to a Tree in a Jungle of Mystery

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I saw on another board that one of Ben's passport names was "Dean Moriarity". Holmes and Kerouac in one fell swoop. Awesome.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So - how many episodes before they actually show Sayid and Desmond reaching the ship?

One? They're moving pretty quickly now; hell, they're giving up the Oceanic Six way faster than I thought they would. I guess it's sort of necessary if they want to tell more stories in the future. I wonder if we'll get any more traditional flashbacks. I sort of miss them and their time-wasting pointlessness!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm hoping the the time warpage works out so that during the 100 days or whatever that they've been on the island, time has been passing at our speed in the rest of the world and Faraday et al are in 2008.

Ah, that could be possible. Good point.

The Red Sox won the World Series in October 2004. Lost S3 premiered in October 2006, two years later. This is when Ben showed Jack the video to convince him he was in contact with the real world. According to Wikipedia, this is late November/early December 2004 in Island Time.

What is even happening?

Oh, definitely. Very intriguing. But, yet, they still seem to be on a parallel time track with the rest of the world; it's not like they're clearly years in the past or future.

Considering there's now a Charlotte Staples Lewis on the show, I'm wondering if it's less parallel and more of shifting time. You couldn't count on X amount of time having passed in Narnia, just because it had in England.

Good point. Could you assume it was more (or less) consistently but not by how much, or could it be anything?

In Narnia and England, I mean.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It could be anything with Narnia.

Thanks, that'll be a good bit of information to rattle around in my brain.
