1. Sayid Hott. 2. Need more answers, less questions. 3. Yeah, I'll watch next week.
Lost 2: Tied to a Tree in a Jungle of Mystery
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
At this point, I'm enjoying the characters again, including the new ones, and the nonsense and obfuscation they are peddling right now is more fun and interesting than the nonsense and obfuscation they were peddling the last couple of years, so I'm in.
Also, anybody else think Jeremy Davies' experiment pretty much means there are time shifts going on? I wonder what would happen if Jeff Fahey flew off course.
Also, was I hallucinating, or did I see Zoe Bell's name in the credits? Did she appear? Or perhaps she's Jeremy Davies' science partner on the ship?
eta IMDB is giving me no love.
I thought that Daniel's experiment meant that there was some sort of time-shifting going on.
Sayid = hot.
Ben? He's working for Ben???!!??
(In a sidenote: WTF are the people upstairs from me doing? There's lots of pounding the sound of heavy objects falling to the floor.)
Also, anybody else think Jeremy Davies' experiment pretty much means there are time shifts going on?
Oh HELL yeah. That, plus his vehemence when telling Helicopter Pilot to be absolutely sure to fly out using the exact same coordinates he used to fly in.
Weird-ass space/time rift.
Ben? He's working for Ben???!!??
It didn't seem, though, like he was necessarily working for Ben *voluntarily.* Didn't Ben say something like, "If you want to help your friends...."?
Didn't Ben say something like, "If you want to help your friends...."?
Exactly. And Sayid replies something like "That's how you got me into this." As I asked before, are the friends the rest of the Oceanic 6, or are they folks still left on the island?
As I asked before, are the friends the rest of the Oceanic 6, or are they folks still left on the island?
My kittens are on the "friends" being the folks still on the island.
Also, I have to say I loved Sayid's sneaky prisoner-trade thing. There wasn't *nearly* enough Sayid last season.
To me it seems like the Oceanic 6 are all protecting people back on the island.
If there's a time-rift thing, that could explain (in terms of the show's timeline, such as it is) why Walt appeared so much older to Locke.
Granted, the *real* reason is that the actor grew up, like you do, but it's a decent explanation in terms of the show's storyline.
I wonder if the time-rift thing has something to do with why Batmanuel seems to not age.
I wonder if Batmanuel is on the list.
