I don't trust these guys (the show runners) based on past LOST experience and JJ's history of wacky resets that have no decent payoff (the payoff that Dawn brought to BUFFY would have trumped every ALIAS reset in total, and that includes seasons 6 & 7), but DAMN these first two eps of LOST have been good.
Last night's episode was fun. What a bizarre collection of people, though. Some kind of insane physicist, a guy who talks to dead people, a washed-up pilot, and a...was she an anthropologist?
Yeah, and she seems to be named for C.S. Lewis.
shouldn't the guy who talks to dead people be almost literally overwhelmed by the island? but I suppose if he operates okay in every day life, he has good control over his skill.
It was fun enough, but I cant say I was thrilled over adding a few more doses of questions.
I enjoyed it. (I watched it On Demand this morning.) It moved so fast that I was surprised when it was over. (And OF COURSE Ben has an operative on the freighter.)
And OF COURSE Ben has an operative on the freighter.
And, yet, that was totally when my head started spinning.
Yeah, and she seems to be named for C.S. Lewis.
Iiiinteresting. And the physicist was named FARADAY. They like to be on-the-nose with their names, don't they.
I admit I'm a little confused as to why the SF Chronicle reviewer thought that last night's episode kicked ass. Because all I could think was: (1) Great, more new characters. And we know how well that worked out with the Tailies. (2) Great more questions, which go so well with all the OTHER UNANSWERED QUESTIONS.
They can keep each other company.
