My first guess was the dead guy was Michael.

I noticed Harold Perrineau was back in the credits.
I did too - and we didn't see him in the episode at all, did we?
And ABC is putting Lost up On Demand for comcast subscribers.
I note that Locke was a likely candidate to have no family or friends, and the one most likely to pine for the fjordsisland if he was cut off from it.
I can't see Hurley's mom not coming to his funeral. And Kate wouldn't say "Why would I go?" about Hurley's funeral.

Thanks, -t. I knew someone had made a comment like that, and that's what pinged me as it being unlikely to be Hurley.
Unless something happens in the meantime. Why does Hurley find it so necessary to apologize for going with Locke, after all this time? What happens? Is there a huge, unforgivable betrayal in his future?
Still, though, Jack seems to still be okay with him, so he wouldn't call him neither friend nor family.
I'm wondering whether all of our POVs will be from people who got off the island. . . I mean, will they give us a POV from on the island? Or will they want to keep it under their hat whether anyone is left alive there.
I think I'm really hooked on Lost, this time. The flash-forwards have me by the short hairs.
Oh, me too. Hopefully we won't know who all the Oceanic 6 are too soon, because not knowing has added to the suspense for me.
Well, if we only know that Kate, Jack and Hurley survived, I fear we'll have one Hurley POV, 2 Kate POVs and five Jack POVs this season.
