Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Interesting. I like the sound of short seasons, I think a little focus and filler-trimming could help Lost's narrative a lot.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm with -t. I think this really could help Lost's momentum. Goodness knows it is an expensive show to produce, but seems to make good $$ with DVDs.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

What is even happening?

I'm going to think of it as 2 lost days, tiggy -- like a stomach virus.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Variety announcement here:

Chock full of good quotes and amusing Variety speak ("Alphabet"?!?).

Gotta say, I think I'm back on board now. I've no idea if they have got answers to any of this, but it's nice to have a finish line in sight. I can imagine it getting a lot of hype towards the end, also, so actually going out at a point where it still has an audience.

I haven't read the article yet Kevin, but I'm guessing the 'alphabet' is the alphabet network, that is ABC.

Because books.

Jacob sounds a bit like Management from Carnivale.

Also, Ben is totally lying. He wasn't born on the island -- unless there's a road to Portland somewhere on it no has found yet.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yay more WoO refrences!

Heh. Mr Jane: "Are we gonna learn anything this episode?"
