I was pretty sure she was faking the not knowing pre-smoke appearence, as she later admitted with the whole "We don't know what it is..." line.
Yeah. Which is interesting, really, because up until now, we'd pretty much assumed it was the Others' little pet Security System.
I didn't think she was admitting to knowing about whatever they saw the night before, but to what was attacking them right then.

Which is where I know her from (that and ZERO EFFECT, which I absolutely adore), so much so that I kept expecting her to mack on Kate at some point.
Oh, yeah, and after Juliet turned the fence back on for the monster, she should have turned it back off. 'Cause she knew it was supposed to be off, but unless she's seeing some mysterious blinking indicator light, there's no way to tell, and now anyone else probably thinks it's off when it's not.
So if the Others come back they'll get zapped by the fence? 'cause the losties who've been there will think it's on. (Unless the Others have taken the subterranean tunnel to Oz and come back that way.)

Except that Jack, Kate, Sayid and Juliet need to go back through the fence to get back to the beach, so we don't know in what state Juliet will leave the fence.
