They didn't have much to work with, really. "Hurley finds a car and makes it work and everyone is happy" doesn't lend itself to the most exciting promo.
Also, the whole Nikki and Paolo thing totally isn't working. Why are they talking? IT'S SO WEIRD.

I watched at a friends house so no posting. I enjoyed it well enough. The flashback wasn't useful although the meteor was funny.
It was kinda sweet how much Sawyer enjoyed that people missed him. Nice to see crazy French Chick and the rest of the non other people. I wasn't annoyed; I wasn't enthralled.

Aw, Hurley is great.
Still, I was rolling my eyes until they fell out at the thought that a WORKING CAR BATTERY would be best used for driving around in circles, as opposed to, I don't know, getting a RADIO working. Remember when Sayid was building a radio? To get off the island with? Now that they've discharged the electromagnetiflobotanumajigger, radios should work again. And compasses.

Yes. But Sayid is very busy trekking across the island to go get Jack. (Will it be funny or annoying for them to trek across the jungle and then find themselves in suburbia? With roads. . . that you could drive a microbus on.)
