You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Art Crawl!!!

You know, to me, it's not so much that the episode was bad - as that it seems completely unnecessary.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I erased my season pass early last week, but have still been skimming this thread.

This ep's comments are hilarious with absolutely no knowledge of what aired.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I gotta say I enjoyed Jack getting the shit beaten out of him more than I probably should have. Once upon a time, I might have been interested in why (beyond "there are consequences"), but now, nsm.

Also, does this mean we'll get episodes to explain the rest of Jack's tatoos? Dare I dream?

And yet, like with STUDIO 60, I can't seem to stop watching. Luckily, that particular affliction may have just been cured (if the hiatus is permanent as rumored - STUDIO 60, not LOST).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

They've been talking about "revealing the secret behind Jack's tattoos" since season one, if I remember correctly.

I always thought they were kidding! I mean, did they honestly think anyone cared? (And did they honestly think "Bai Ling did them in Phuket this one time, for some reason" was a good enough answer to be worth framing an hour of television around?)

I think the producers aren't actually letting the promos department see the eps before they have to write the ads.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh my. I haven't watched last week yet so now I have 2 sitting waiting. But my Lost watching and loving GF has asked me a bunch of times if I knew what the tattoos were about. She is going to be so very happy. Will have to watch with her now.

Er. Probably not.

Our wings are not tired.

Are you trying to tell me the reveal wasn't compelling and interesting? I'm sittin' here in a state of shock.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Well, it wasn't so much of a reveal as they were going "Oh I know where this story is going...wait, no I don't"

Who? moi??

I found that Lost was on my to be seen list, and I didn't care. I removed Lost from the Season Pass list and dumped the ep. Like ita said, reading here without seeing the eps is a hoot.

Huh, apparently, Juliet's brand of shame is very similar to the cross of Scientology.. . . (this info was posted and linked from TWOP's "Stranger in a Strange Land" thread.)
