I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I still want to smack the shit out of Ana.

I liked that when she asked Eko to hit her, he clobbered her.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, yeah. I liked Eko from the start. This just made me LOVE him.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

We're acting like Ana not trusting anybody.

I think it derives from the characters being extensions of the writers, who have repeatedly proven themselves untrustworthy.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Who would have thought I would miss the backstory segments?

Hey, whoa. The first episode without backstory. Though technically, it was all backstory. I wonder if they'll start doing Tailie backstories.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

At least of the Tailenders who get cast credits. So we may not see Bernard's, but we'll get Rose's... I hope! Certainly, we'll get Mr. Eko's.

I liked the episode more than not, especially as the big misdirect culminated in a genuine HSQ.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Oh, yeah. I liked Eko from the start. This just made me LOVE him.

Hells yes. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is doing so well in the role I have to make a conscious effort to connect him with Simon Adebisi - Eko's like the anti-Adebisi. I miss the jaunty hat, though.

I still don't trust Libby. I did call who the Other was; not sure why - just a hunch, but the other guy was just too much of a red flag (and kinda looked like Ethan too). Libby would be about the right age to be Rousseau's Alex if that's a she, right?

Which makes me wonder about the timing of when Rousseau's group got "sick". Was that around the time of the "event" that led to Dharma having people type numbers and push buttons?

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Am I the only one underwhelmed by last night's episode? We didn't learn anything new. Not really.

I'm not feeling the love.

At this point, I'm watching for the actors and/or the characters - even if I don't learn anything new about them, I enjoy watching (several of) them.

I gave up on expecting anything new in terms of the mystery with the season finale. If I actually GET something new, it's icing as far as I'm concerned.

Because books.

I didn't love last night's episode, either. Yadda yadda, they're marooned, yadda yadda, the Others are after us, blah blah.

I'm interested to know why the Others wanted nine of them, and if the reason they were successful in taking them was because the group of Tailies was so much smaller than the Front Enders (or whatever they're called).

And I think now that they're going to be integrated into the main cast, we'll get backstories, but we won't have to get as many -- Cnythia is conveniently gone, we don't really need Bernard's backstory, so we'll get Ana and Echo and Libby.

I'm still enjoying watching some of my favorite characters, but I am less and less convinced that this is ever going to wrap up neatly. Where's Rousseau? Who has Walt? The Others? Or *other* Others? Why is Walt magical thinking boy? What's the deal with the hatch? What's the deal with the second hatch the Tailies found? What's the significance of the numbers? What's with the magical healing (Locke) and the coincidence of everyone's lives overlapping pre-crash? And that's not even every question you could ask about this island. Huge thumping mechanical dinosaurs, anyone? Whatever happened to them?

Right now, I'm just itching to see Sayid go off the deep end.
