Lost 2: Tied to a Tree in a Jungle of Mystery

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

That icon is HI-LARIOUS!

Also, I don't think there were too many people left on this board holding on to the following theories, but I was glad of the finale for settling two questions once and for all -- Losties = NOT DEAD. Rest of the world = NOT BLOWED UP (or somehow otherwise destroyed).

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The pneumatic graveyard bugged the crap out of me.

I enjoyed it in a close-up-of-a-stoplight-swinging-in-the-wind kind of way. Now that I've stopped trying to apply logic to the show (watching Alias has helped me in this respect), I'm finding it very entertaining.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Rest of the world = NOT BLOWED UP (or somehow otherwise destroyed).

Unless the rest of the world is in the midst of a nuclear winter and the Losties are in a biosphere.

Also, I want to start a rumor that they HAD a plan, but they had to change it after THE VILLAGE came out...

It's Survivor meets The Truman Show.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

What's SRMHI?

t edit Also notice that the writer assumes Jack & Claire are siblings.

t re-edit And "Henry Gale" is Aaron's granddad? WTF?

t re-re-edit And Bernard worked for "Henry" at Hanso??? WTF???

OK, I give up. Rose is Walt's grandmother? Where does this guy get his information?

OK, last one: Desmond's girlfriend was the woman who was going to adopt Claire's baby??? That seems easily verifiable. But wasn't that woman already married, and what was she doing in Australia?

Our wings are not tired.

SRMHI

Santa Rosa Mental Hospital I?

I like Desmond. He's fun to watch. It is going to hurt my brain too much if I try and make sense of this. But lots of pretty.

I'll watch marathon style over the summer and see if that helps. My back door neighbor stopped by while I was watching the tape last night and quickly had me stop. They didn't watch at all this year because they liked last year better in marathon. I'm more and more convinced that full season is the One True way to watch tv shows. Direct to DVD.
