Now I'm wanting to see more of Libby's backstory. Not just how it overlaps with Hurley in the psych ward, but how she ended up in Australia and whatever. She's still too much an enigma. We've seen Eko's back story, Ana Lucia's back story, we don't really need Bernard's (he's Rose's SO, nuf said), but since Libby seems to be having connections to other major players, I want her back story, too.

It certainly is intriguing.

On another note, I wonder how long Locke is going to keep the map a secret.

Oh, yeah! I missed bits and pieces of the show this week (that's what happens when you chat online, pout.) Did Locke try to recreate the map for himself at all?

Nope, he didn't mention it to anyone and I don't think he's been alone enough to try and recreate it.

Good to know, thanks!

I've just got this feeling that he won't be mentioning it to anyone in the near future. Since he's not able to walk very well right now, I wonder if he'll just redraw what he can remember or if he'll see if he can get the blast doors to go down again. I'm bettin' dollars to donuts, he'll be taking a little walkabout to see what's in the other hatches.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

as slowly as time moves in this series, the "two weeks" that Locke is supposed to keep weight off that leg is at least the rest of the season, no?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Could be, Le N -- of course, for all we know, the island has magical healing powers.

Libby was in the same ward with the numbers-reciting guy, so she may well have been pre-affected by them -- maybe she was his original therapist? (In fact, we don't know what became of him. In fact, he seems to be the only person who may have escaped the island.)

A thought: if I wanted to be clever, I'd have the collapsing porch be at the home of Sayid's girlfriend, which Locke inspected and found to be OK. Somebody mark this post, and if I'm right, then I want props! (not porch-supporting ones, though.)

Theo, oh that would be awesome.

All is well that ends in pizza.

In fact, he seems to be the only person who may have escaped the island.

He (Leonard the numbers guy) was never said to have been on the island, that we know of. He got them from a collegue, Sam Toomey, who heard the signal.

...and I had to look that up....
