I'm trying to remember the details of that ep, and how it tied in with the rest of her backstory, and I'm fuzzy-minded. I'm trying to do a "Who's Who on the Island" for a co-worker who watches the show semi-regularly, and is getting lost on the growing cast (she thought that Shannon was Claire).

Her mother was ill, or dying, right? Old boyfriend was a doctor, and Kate was already on the run, and she asked old boyfriend for help in getting to see her mother. And they dug up a time capsule with the little plane in it, and when she went to see her mother, her mother freaked, and they tried to get away in the car, and old boyfriend got shot.

Was Cindy the Aussie one? 'Cause I remember thinking earlier in the episode that the tailsection could supply us with more demographic correctness, but maybe not so much.
I dunno how I feel about a whole ep going back to tell the tailsection story. I almost would have preferred to have it come out in bits and pieces with their interaction with the other characters.
And I totally love Rose hanging out the laundry. "I don't like the hatch."
