Okay, I wasn't paying attention. What did the hostage say to Locke to get him so pissed off?

Conservative, n. A statesman who is enamored of existing evils, as distinguished from the Liberal, who wishes to replace them with others. -Bierce

He asked him why he lets Jack make all the decisions.

Our wings are not tired.

Well they have been forecasting the Sun thing for several episodes.

I enjoyed the ep much. Delighted to see Alex. Love the fake beard and "others" clothes. Didn't like Henry getting the best of Locke so easily.

I kinda feel this way, but I also kinda feel that we're supposed to see that Locke has been doubting himself a lot lately. Not that I could point to specific instances, I haven't taped to rewatch for a while. Just a feeling I've got. So Henry could get to Locke, conceivably.

From the backstory of Locke that we have seen it does seem likely that huge quantities of insecurity would be barely below the surface. It's rather inconsistent with the healed whole man that has confronted his black smoke though. Bugs me to see him manipulated so easily. I prefer the Locke that reads people with ease. I prefer the self confident clever Locke.

Bugs me like the punching Charlie bugged me. Just didn't feel right.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Aurelia, is Rosie your cat?

Yeah. The other cat, Gilda, didn't seem to care.

What did that little bit of Eko's beard signify?

I think the problem with Locke's little fit is that I don't see that Jack has been calling the shots. Or is Jack the only one who wants to keep Henry Gale (still funny!) a secret?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, pretty sure the torture wasn't his idea.

Eko said he killed two people, right? I took it to mean that he'd grown those two little tails because of that, and until he could confess.

Are these standard penance practices for some people or is he just making this shit up? I thought the silence was for killing those two guys.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh. I thought it just meant, "My knife is really sharp."

That too, P-C. Also "isn't it funny how I'm even scarier when I say I regret killing those dudes than if I showed no remorse at all?"

I'm guessing that Eko kind of has his own way of going about making penance. But I forgot about the silent bit.
