Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, msbelle, that reminds me -- my bro and his partner have two cats. Anyone have vet recommendations? I have no idea where exactly they'll be living in NYC, but anything closer than Boston would be of the good.

I liked the one I went to on the UWS, so if they're up there, I could give more info.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It's because I pity you. Did you follow the link to the bed that gets progressively more uncomfortable?

Well, I appreciate it then. I did follow the link to the bed. I am still waiting for someone to buy me this: [link]

Oz is very particular. He hisses at anyone who pets (beyond a certain, unspecified point) him except me, and he wouldn't let me touch him for the first two weeks he was mine.

He actually worries me with how he will react when a child enters the house, but my hope is that, like with me, once he accepts that you are the human in his house he will be good with you.

Wow, I really like the sound of that Sleeptracker. I tend to set my alarm with leeway anyway, so it would be so pleasant to wake up more naturally like that.

Oh, also, I totally sold out this afternoon and bought a new sweater. I was shopping for pants, which I NEED and no one else could get me, and accidentally picked up the sweater, too. The one odd thing with the pants is, they are like off-black. The color is apparently called "mink," so they are slightly brown, I guess. Anyway, I won't wear them with black and no one will know the difference.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Did you buy it from The Man?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'd like that, actually. I lost mine and have since gone to a new one and he seems... alrightish.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, that seems really neat. I usually wake up just before the alarm anyway, though. It would be excellent for naps when waking up in the middle of a sleep cycle can leave you groggier than before.
