"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

Weather analysis overheard in the diner this morning:

"They were forecasting 1 to 3 by 7. So that will happen in the next four minutes."
"Maybe they meant 1 to 3 flakes?"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Poor guy!

"The thought of treatment makes me feel a bit frightened or scared because I don't know what's going to happen. I might have the urge to have sex when I don't want to have sex!"

Little does he know...

Ann, that's a ferret.

Snow turned out not too bad in DC. 2-3 inches, depending on where you live. A little messy on the side roads this morning, but the main roads were fine.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yeah, enough snow to get class delayed, but not cancelled. I was hoping for cancelled. Oh, well, off to get dressed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

There's a coating of snow on my fire escape this morning, but that's about it.

I like Kim from ANTM more than ever, after reading that interview. But Cover Girl is pretty darn close to having an out spokesperson, with Queen Latifah, aren't they??

And that poor guy, with the no-puberty! It seems like he could get advice from trans guys, about dealing with the brand new testosterone stuff.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I settle for delay. Means a lot fewer cars on the road at 7 a.m.

Art Crawl!!!

MV and BC together on KC - that was EXCELLENT. Yes, MV should play French more often.

I think that the ad for Eureka may be the best thing about watching The Triangle. We'll see.

You wouldn't happen to remember about where in the showing it was? I have the whole thing TiVoed, but am lazy.

Because books.

I think it was near the end of the first hour, ita, but I could be wrong.

Uh, no. Sorry. I saw Colin and I was like -- who is that guy? He looks so familiar. . .

The show looks really good.
