We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Rio, it didn't work on 1.5 for OSX for me. I had to go use the stinky Windows machine to do it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So, um. No. Because the person it thinks I resemble most is Kiera Nightly, and, yeah. Nope. I laughed.

It gave me this person second, Simone Signoret [link]

And this person third, Amelie Nothomb [link]

Are you ready to be strong?

Windows? Ew. Not worth it.

Are you ready to be strong?

I should go to bed. But I should take a shower first. And I am too lazy for that. Therefore I shall not go to bed. t /insane troll logic

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

RIO!! Go to bed. Shower tomorrow.

Also, apparently, I look like Kirsten Dunst. Yeah.....

And Paul Hindemith. [link]

I'm afraid.

Now I need to go to bed. I've been working on a unit plan on The Holocaust for the past month and it's due Thursday. It's very depressing to immerse yourself in the Holocaust. I don't recommend it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

No, indeedy. I suspect some of the Holocaust Deniers are an extreme version of putting fingers in the ears, closing the eyes and chanting "la la la". (The rest are just assholes.)

What a cheery thought to start the day with!

Anyway, the inch of snow they predicted did not materialize. Which means I suspect it'll show up right in the middle of my morning commute.

With my luck, in the form of one GIANT snowflake. Which will land on my car.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm beginning to think that I'd prefer snow to the bitter cold we've been having the past few days.

Of course, if it started snowing, I'd start bitching about the driving, etc. almost immediately.

Our wings are not tired.

No snow, but a thick coat of fog here. This is very rare indeed. The kids were all agog on the ride to school. It isn't so awful when the roads are all straight and flat. Tis kinda pretty.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

This is why I shouldn't go to bed so early, isn't it?

Theodosia, I hope that snowflake thing doesn't happen to you. If it happens to the person next to you though, make sure you take a picture.
