"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Matt did you see his dirty priest turn on last season's Alias? He mad my Hall of Fame for that.

Nope, only tuned in once Lena Olin returned.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If a repeat of Ice pops up nearby, have a look. It was so wrong it wrapped back around to right.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Given the context I figured the Las Vegas wf must be the thing that happened a couple weeks ago, and yeah. It was hysterical. It's true that that show doesn't take itself very seriously; the actors always seem to be having so much fun. I think it's the reflected playfulness that makes me tune in week after week. And it really gets more than a few laughs out of me each episode.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, I guess my big TV makeover will never air. The first Isaac show aired today, and it's not the "first one" I saw them tape. And it's actually way better -- the guests the day I was there were like Alan Cumming and Rob and Amber from Survivor, and this is Keira Knightly and Dolly Parton. At least I guess I don't have to worry about what I look like on tv?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I stopped watching Las Vegas...um...sometime last year. For some reason. I think I just gradually forgot it was on.

I'm mad at Fox all over again for cancelling KC. Damnit, I love this show.

AD, OTOH, has been going through a terrible storyline for some time now. I hope they can spiral out of it before the end of the season.

Given I've missed the past couple of weeks, you are probably right. I'd forgotten that I'd been travelling.

So defeatist, Jesse! They could very well be airing out of order.

Our wings are not tired.

Well, I was trying to stay awake until 10 so as not to seem so pathetic (to myself), but I can't do it.

G'night all. Be all entertaining and stuff so as to amuse me while I drink my coffee and read the overnight posts in about 8 hours.

Well, I'll keep taping it, but I bet "mine" was a test run, even though they told me it wasn't.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Scientists tout new discoveries from Titanic

FALMOUTH, Mass. - The discovery of two large pieces of the Titanic’s hull on the ocean floor indicates that the fabled luxury liner sank faster than previously thought, researchers said Monday.

The hull pieces were a crucial part of the ship’s structure and make up a bottom section of the vessel that was missing when the wreck was first located in 1985, the researchers said.

Kind of an "eh" story. Except the end of the article cracked me up:

Explorer Robert Ballard found the bulk of the wreck in 1985, at a depth of 13,000 feet and about 380 miles southeast of Newfoundland. Ballard was not impressed with the expedition’s find.

“They found a fragment, big deal,” he said. “Am I surprised? No. When you go down there, there’s stuff all over the place. It hit an iceberg and it sank. Get over it.”
