Oooh, Galapagos!
Today, listening to a podcast, I learned that deep sea squids don't have dark ink like their surface-dwelling cousins. Black ink in pitch darkness doesn't do much good, so they leave luminescent ink hanging in a confusingly squid-shaped cloud while they jet away invisibly. Is that cool or what?
Actually, Sparky was in New Zealand. I'll be taking the Galapagos trip in a couple of months.

OK, I'm probably the only person who watches Las Vegas, but did they REALLY have Lara Flynn Boyle leave the show by getting blown off the roof like a leaf?

I still faithfully watch Las Vegas, guiltiest of guilty pleasures, my Monday night Love Boat, but since I haven't watched tonight's yet I can't look at the wf.
bon, once you do, you'll have to fill me in, because I only turned on the tv about 15 minutes in and saw a crazy image from the corner of my eye.
It's such great tv candy. Doesn't take itself seriously most of the time.
