Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wait, Sue, you already have tonight's GA? Fancy. It doesn't show here until 10.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Those pesky Canadians.

Curse you wee ita for making me care about these people. And thank you .

Yes! And...you're welcome.

I'm so psyched for tonight's new episode.

I finally met Emeline! Brazilian dinner (con plantains) with Aimée, and I got to see the wee little girl. Hold her, even.

'Twas good.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Plantains, ick. Wee little girl, yay!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I just made chili. Yay chili!

Jesse, I made chili tonight, too! Copycat.

Plus, I did 4 loads of laundry (2 loads of sheets and towels, 1 load of whites, 1 load of darks), got all my groceries, took out my trash, and filled up my gas tank. I may even wash my dishes and put clean sheets on my bed.

I feel very accomplished.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ha! Jesse thought she was imitating me, but I didn't make chili, since I didn't stay awake long enough to go to the store.

Yay for meeting Emma, and plaintains! Early dinner though.

hip deep in pie

Chili was on the agenda for tonight. Instead I am decorating my Xmas tree.

Thanks to our earlier time zone, 10 Eastern is 11 here, which is the news hour, so they cycle the 11 show to 8 Atlantic.

It also means if it's good, I can watch it again at 11.

I feel very accomplished.

I should say so! Me, I've... done some homework. A little.

I was just figuring you'd get it at 10. Pretty tricky, Canadians!

Steph's productiveness would make me feel slothful, except I was taking a sick day today. So there.

I did laundry today too, but the last two loads are sitting on the sofa next to me, unfolded.

I think they are mocking me too.

Oh, poor msbelle. Sorry the family is being problematic.

I got to see Hampden's parade today. Didn't mean to , but forgot about it and ended up trapped right in front of the stoplight as it passed. It was kinda fun. I miss doing the whole parade thing. More fun as a kid, sure, but still. Luckily, it didn't make me too late to see Walk the Line which was also enjoyable, thoug for some reason I fixated on Joaquin Phoenix's lip scar. But other than that, it was eerily good.

Laundry done, lunch made.

Kinda in a mood. Sleep should fix that.
