Your tag here.

Let A be the set of numbers in (3/5,2/3) that have decimal expansions containing only finitely many zeros and sixes after the decimal point and no other integer. Find the least upper bound of A. (prove your answer)

My head hurts, and I can't help but wonder what is the practical value of the question. Good luck.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Can't help you there. Dedekind cuts always made my brain hurt. Good luck!

Practical value? Did you miss the part where I said History of Math? Practical, shyeah! I do homework on things that were proved impossible 500 years ago!

God I'll be glad when this class is over. The homework just never gets any easier.

I shouldn't mention how often I like to consider different approaches for trisecting the angle, huh?

No, no! Not really! This is history, see? The people who wrote this stuff? All dead!

You're a rebel, and you'll never ever be any good.

Swouncing

So remember how the whole breaking-stuff-that-used-to-work in my apartment started with my computer freezing up? It just happened again. The computer freezing. It wouldn't even turn itself off by the button, I had to manually unplug it from the electricity.

I'm afraid to go home to see what else was broken through that, just for completion sake.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My Apple Cube is set up in my bedroom now. It spends most of its time sleeping. But sometimes it will just wake up in the middle of the night for no reason, flooding the room with light. Once it woke up at 3:00 a.m. and started playing the Lord of the Rings DVD that was in it....

I hope it's not any sort of omen or anything, Nilly.

The Saints are losing in Tiger Stadium. Woe.

I am not trying to do anything impossible right now. It's not like I never-ever do what I should.
