Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

Yes, Fay Wray.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I need a change too, Allyson. Wanna swap lives with me for 3 weeks starting right now?

Who gets custody of lori in this swap?

I have seen my face, Brenda. Just this morning as I was washing it, as a matter of fact. Before the Very Big Publisher That Shall Not Be Named gets a phot of me, I think need to get my hair redone and a facial and a makeup artist to fix me.

Also, waching the King Kong Trailer. Were their dinosaurs in the first one? And what's with the pit of fire? Did Peter Jackson have that left over from the damn hobbit movie and needed to use them?

You can have custody for Lori. Keep in mind she's swamped with work (still not home now) and on travel to NYC for two separate trips before Christmas.

Also, keep in mind I STILL have 3 papers to write.

New hair is definitely a good plan.

My vague memories of the the original tell me they threw in every horror or adventure movie trope that existed at the time, so I'm guessing they came from there.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Were their dinosaurs in the first one? And what's with the pit of fire?

The original, yes. Not the '76 version. There was also a pit of giant spiders in the original that was cut after the first screening. PJ put that back in, too.

Yes, there were dinosaurs. Don't know about a pit of fire, but there's apparently a pit of spiders that was cut from the original and that PJ's been anxious to restore to its rightful place of glory.

Never expected a "pit of spiders" crosspost.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm guessing not that many people love their faces (and can we really trust those who do? I mean, c'mon) but I don't see what your reluctance is, Kat. Which means there's no way I can talk you out of it, so I'll let it go.

The fact that King Kong uses music that sounds exactly like the music from The Mission is wigging me out, bug time.

Does the movie use it or the trailer use it? There seem to be about 10 songs used in trailers (and just the one voiceover guy -- maybe it's his music collection). There's most often no connection between trailer score and movie score, I've found.

Huh. Maybe I've never seen King Kong before? It's probable. Or at least highly possible.
