No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

I've skipped a couple of hundreds of posts, to ask: am I correct in remembering that today is Emma's first birthday?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

A sneeze woke me. Now I have to play "where'd the snot go?" and do a search so when I go back to bed I don't get a faceful of boogies on my pillow.

Allyson has the boogie fever. She caught it from that boogie woogie bugle boy, and now she's bugling too.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

A sneeze woke me. Now I have to play "where'd the snot go?" and do a search so when I go back to bed I don't get a faceful of boogies on my pillow.
My being woken up by coughing that sounds like a seal barking seems so much better now. It's all in how you look at it.

Em is 1 today! Happy Birthday MiraclePrincess!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday, Em!

I don't know what woke me up.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Em, are you cheating on Education with Math?

We have a certain understanding. I could not love my Education half so much, loved I not Math as well (I know that screws up the quote, but I don't want to make my fields jealous).

Nobody should be woken up by anything that isn't a nice morning sunshine or anything that answers to the definition of "a good morning experience".

Nothing like, well, say, the refrigerator's door collapsing.

I could not love my Education half so much, loved I not Math as well

I love Emily.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm not loving math so much today, but that's mostly because I've got a whole ton of logic homework that I don't know how to do. Once I figure this out, it'll be better.

I really wish we could have a Buffista Retreat Week. We could do Math for Grownups Who Can Articulate Their Feelings, and nobody would have to do problem sets who didn't want to.

Yep. Math can be fun! It can be interesting! It does all kinds of neat stuff! Well, unless it's my model theory homework, because then it's just a pain and impossible. But math other than this assignment is cool.

And I love Nilly!

. . . But who will love me?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?
